Posted in Christmas Gifts, Gifts For Kids , Thursday 17th November by DonnaThe Toy Retailers Association has just released the cream of the crop of children’s Christmas gifts for the upcoming festive season. The list compiles twelve toys predicted to be this year’s bestsellers.
Familiar favourites like Lego, Star Wars memorabilia and Elmo feature in the list, as well as some new faces, including loveable robot, Fijit Friend, a toy reminiscent of 90’s sensation, Furbies. There is something for every child as the list includes toys that encourage learning, excite imagination and most important of all, ensure a noisy Christmas morning.
- Doggie Doo does, eh, exactly what it says on the tin! Great for teaching kids how to be a responsibe pet owner..
- Fijit Friend moves, speaks and even tells jokes in response to your voice. As cute as a Tellytubby and as annoying as them too.
- Let the battle commence with this Nerf Vortex Nitron Blaster!
- The Moshling Treehouse is complete with cute residents and a basket lift. This toy will win the heart of any little girl.
- Fireman Sam: Pontypandy Multi Rescue Set is complete with burning inferno and questionable Welsh accents, not to mention our favourite civil servant.
- With a camera, video and voice-changer, the Kidizoom Twist is one impressive piece of mini machinery.
- Forget school, the LeapPad Explorer is the little man’s iPad and has everything he may need – for business and pleasure.
- Lets Rock Elmo is a children’s classic, with a little edge.
- Milky the Bunny. We think he looks evil, but apparently he’s a cuddler.
- Monster High Lagoona’s Hydration Station is the toy that eh, teaches your kids about the importance of water preservation?
- Before they slay the evil skeleton army, your kids can appreciate the intricate Japanese architecture of the Lego Ninjago Fire Temple…
- Star Wars Ultimate Force Tech Lightsaber is another lightsaber your child doesn’t need…but will want anyway.
